Formatting Walls in Default Settings

Formatting your walls and your defaults prior to beginning to model can save you so much time. Make sure to set a little time aside in your schedule to review the plans and information (make sure to note wall widths when you are taking measurements yourself.

Nominal Lumber Sizing - Chief Architect

Make sure to use Actual Dressed Lumber Sizing when building Walls

Using the table to the left as a reference when building your wall types, make sure to use ACTUAL sizing.

Note: This is different than the standards set by NKBA.
