Cathy Rowe, CKBD
Professional Project Management and Design Consultant Mentor
Cathy has worked with textiles since the age of 13, and by the time she was in high school was designing and making most of her clothes. Prior to entering the design field, Cathy was responsible for program development, marketing and program management in several hospitals in both Pennsylvania and Virginia. After retraining, she chose to open her own business and has been the owner of Well Dressed Interiors for the last 18 years. Initially Cathy specialized in all types of residential window treatments – including draperies, roman shades, and valances as well as cellular shades, woven woods and shutters. She has supplied custom window treatments for numerous commercial projects in the area, including the George and Barbara Bush Center at the University of New England, and has provided window treatments for a number of area interior designers as well.
As her business grew, Cathy’s services expanded and 10 years ago she began working with area contractors to offer kitchen and bath design and renovations, along with other interior renovations. She uses Chief Architect for her designs and 3D modeling and is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. She has completed her Certification and is now a CKBD - Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer by the NKBA.
Cathy has been married for almost 30 years and resides with her husband in the coastal community of Kennebunk, Maine.
